Tuesday night at the always moving First Tuesday prayer service, Matt Carter announced the 4 non-profits that have signed agreements to be the first tenants at the For The City Center that is a major part of the new Austin Stone Community Church campus in the St. John’s neighborhood. This is an exciting step in our church’s effort to take part in the renewal of this neighborhood and ultimately the city of Austin. For all the details check out the post on the church’s blog, but here are the 4 partners:
- Communities in Schools
- Capital Area Food Bank
- Caring Family Network
- Austin Lifeguard
I’m very excited as we are getting close to opening up this campus, and praying that all we do shows the gospel to the people of Austin more clearly.
